Add to Your Bath

lavender

This lavender bath recipe is extra nice because one of the ingredients is oatmeal. The lavender is for relaxation and the oatmeal is soothing to your skin.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups regular oatmeal (not instant or quick cooking)

  • 1/2 cup dried lavender flower petals

  • 1/2 cup baking soda
Directions:
  • Place the oatmeal, lavender, and baking soda in a blender or food processor.

  • Blend until the ingredients are smooth. Pour mixture in an airtight container.
Gift Presentation Ideas:

To present this as a gift, pour the mixture into a pretty bottle or jar that has a lid or cork. Add a label indicating...
  • "Lavender Bath Powder With Oatmeal"

  • Add 1/2 cup as your bathtub is filling
