Homemade Baby Gift Baskets
Welcome newborn babies with homemade baby gift baskets personalized just for them. Create these gifts that are overflowing with baby gifts that will be greatly appreciated by the new parents.
There are several different containers that are very usable and also make a nice presentation. For example, every mother needs at least one baby tote bag. Place packages of cloth or disposable diapers in the bottom to make it stable. This in itself is a very nice gift. But if you want to add some more items, one can't have too many baby wipes, teething toys, or baby powder, oil, or lotion. If your budget allows, place a small teddy bear or other stuffed animal in the bag so it shows out the top of the tote bag.
TIPS: Overflowing gift baskets look much nicer than sparsely filled ones. When planning your homemade baby gift baskets, buy some baby rattles or other small toys to fill in any gaps. Another tip is to place plush toys next to breakable items.

There are many more ideas to personalize your gifts and that make them special.
An assortment of bathing items are wonderful baby shower gift basket ideas. Choose a bathing basin and fill it with baby shampoo, lotion, washcloths, a hooded towel, and a couple of floating toys.
Large wicker or plastic baskets that can be used as hampers for the baby's laundry would come in handy. Place larger baby gifts -- such as diapers, baby pillow, baby blanket or quilt -- that take up a lot of space in first. Arrange the smaller items on the top so they are visible.

would be a book gift basket. Fill a pretty basket with classic and current books, videos, and DVDs. You can't miss with Baby Einstein and Sesame Street products. Place purchased shred or straw in the basket first and then arrange the books and other baby gift items so all the titles are visible. This is the ideal kind of basket to finish like the pros; simply place it in a cello bag and tie with pink or blue curly ribbon; allow plenty of ribbon so it cascades down the front.
Toy wagons
make adorable containers to use when making homemade baby gift baskets and they are very easy to work with.
Whatever container you choose, two of my favorite gifts are a subscription to a baby magazine or the most popular book all about new babies.
If the baby has already arrived, include a personalized baby gift with the baby's name, date of birth, or both. These items include a picture frame, silver drinking cup, or a baby robe or hooded bath towel.
Don't forget the new mom. Tuck in a little personal gift for her; herbal tea bags in a pretty mug, a mommy brag book, a box of chocolates, a pretty bottle of fragrant bubble bath, or anything that is monogrammed with "I Love My Mommy."
