Christmas Mug Gifts
Christmas Custard and Christmas Bread Pudding Mixes
These Christmas Mug Gifts are Adapted from Mug 'Ems Holiday Copyright @ 2005 CQ Products.
Christmas Bread Pudding Mix
1-1/2 tablespoon raisins
1-1/2 tablespoon dried cherries or cranberries
1 cup dried, cubed bread
2-1/2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
In a small bowl, combine above ingredients. Mix well and place in a sandwich-size Ziplock bag and seal. Place sealed bag in a mug. Make sure the mug holds a volume of at least 1-1/2 cups.
Decorate mug and attach a gift tag with the directions on how to prepare the pudding.

Christmas Bread Pudding
Christmas Bread Pudding Mix
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup milk
1 egg yolk
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease mug and add Christmas Bread Pudding Mix from bag. Mix until well incorporated.
In a glass measuring cup, combine butter and milk. Microwave until butter is melted and stir in egg yolk. Pour heated milk mixture over ingredients in mug.
Loosely cover mug with a small piece of aluminum foil. Bake in oven for 20 minutes. Let cool slightly. Enjoy!

Christmas Custard Mix
1/3 cup crumbled macaroon cookies
2 tablespoons chopped mixed candies fruit
2 tablespoons chopped raisins
2 tablespoons sugar
In a small bowl, combine above ingredients. Mix well and place in a sandwich-size Ziplock bag and seal. Place sealed bag in a mug. Make sure the mug holds a volume of at least 1-1/2 cups.
Decorate mug and attach a gift tag with the directions on how to prepare the custard.

1 small egg
2/3 cup whole milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla or rum extract
Christmas Custard Mix
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a small bowl, combine egg, milk, vanilla, and Christmas Custard Mix from bag.
Let mixture sit for a few minutes. Pour mixture into lightly greased mug. Place mug in a pot. Fill pot with water until water level is halfway up side of mug.
Place pot with mug in oven and bake for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
