Homemade cat gift baskets can be wonderful gifts to be shared by the kitty and it's owner. They are great cat lover gifts for all holidays or other special occasions. Or, kitty gift baskets as a way to welcome a new kitty into the family.

Wicker baskets or wooden crates work well as the container for a kitty lover gift basket. However, if you prefer an unusual container, use a cat bed, food dish, or a coffee mug with the picture of a cat. If you choose a wicker basket or a cat bed as the container, place a fleece kitty blanket or a soft cuddly towel in the bottom so the kitty can use it for napping. My cats favorite toys are small plastic balls and wind up toys such as little mice. And, you can't go wrong with anything kind of toys with catnip.
