Make A Camping Gift Basket
Wonderful Gift For A Nature Lover!
It's easy to make a camping gift basket with necessities, snacks, and camping gifts for children away at camp or for the family that enjoys camping.
First, choose a container such as an cooler, wooden crate, basket, or an unbreakable bucket or tub. A backpack is another useful container.
Make a trip to your neighborhood discount department or bargain store and walk through the aisles. You'll be surprised at all the reasonably priced items that are available.
If you've never made a gift basket before, you will want to visit the

You probably have an idea of what kind of equipment the campers already have, so choose why not make some homemade snacks to place in your
camping gift basket.
Some other camping gift ideas are canned or well-wrapped treats and canned beverages. A first aid kit, insect repellent, and sun screen are necessities fit nicely with an assortment of gifts. Batteries, a flashlight, disposable camera, maps, a hiking guide, and can coolers are also great gift ideas for campers. If you want to add s more expensive gift, a compass, Swiss Army knife, or a battery operated lantern would be greatly appreciated.
If there are children in the family include some gift items for them that will help to pass the time. A jump rope, yo-yo, deck of playing cards, bubbles, silly putty, gum and well wrapped candy are some ideas.

Finally, here is one of my favorite (and unique) homemade campers gifts:
S'mores For the Campfire
For each S'more you'll need the following:
1 Hershey's chocolate bar (the flat one)
2 whole graham crackers
2 marshmallows
Pack them individually or for the group of campers and include the following directions:
Break each chocolate bar and graham cracker in half. Place each half of chocolate bar on each graham cracker half. Place one toasted marshmallow on top of the chocolate and top with the other half of the graham cracker; press gently.
